ZarcoEnglish has been nominated for the Top 100 Language Blogs. I can't begin to tell you how happy I feel right now! I have no idea who nominated me, but whoever you are I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for acknowledging the work I do, for validating it. :)

This post isn't about asking you to vote for this blog, it's simply to ask you to browse through the categories, to visit the blogs and ultimately to honour them by voting. Shelly Terrell from Teacher Boot Camp, Barbara Hoskins Sakamoto from Teaching Village and Eva Büyüksimkeşyan from A Jouney in TEFL have all written wonderful blog posts about this same topic. I feel that they voice my own feelings toward it far better than I could ever do.

"It´s Worth Taking a Look at this Blog"

Yesterday Zarco-English blog was kindly attributed an award by Janet Bianchini and Ana Maria Menezes. Needless to say that I am very proud and honoured. :)

Here's the background: the award is part of the initiative "Vale a pena ficar de olho nesse blog", which, basically, intends to spread the word about blogs that we think are worth checking out. There are a couple of rules you need to follow:

1- Copy and display the picture of the award given to you;
2- Link back to the blog that nominated you;
3- Nominate 10 different blogs yourself;

4- Inform the people you nominated, so they can in turn, continue the chain and spread the word about other great blogs out there.

Not too hard to follow, is it? And it's a great way to call people's attention to the wonderful work being done by bloggers all over the world. So, bearing that in mind, here are my nominations:
